For Vecteezy, we set out to create a high-energy, cinematic commercial that embodied the excitement and creativity of their brand. Inspired by classic spy thrillers, the campaign transformed our studio into a fully realized secret agent lair, resulting in two dynamic commercials — a 60-second hero spot and a 30-second cutdown — designed to captivate audiences and boost brand awareness.

The Challenge

The creative vision demanded a complete studio transformation unlike anything we’d attempted before. We needed to build a world from the ground up — on a tight timeline — and ensure the final product delivered both cinematic polish and commercial clarity.

The Execution

Over the course of two weeks, I led the set transformation, turning our blank studio into a sleek, immersive spy headquarters.

• Set Build: Constructed multiple zones within the studio to mimic a high-tech agent environment, complete with custom walls, props, lighting setups, and practical effects.
• Script Development: Collaborated with the team to write a script that matched the fast-paced, punchy energy of the visuals.
• Strategic Campaign Direction: Partnered closely with Vecteezy to align the creative concept with their marketing goals and brand voice.
• Production: Filmed the entire campaign in one action-packed day, using dynamic camera work, tight choreography, and stylized lighting to bring the world to life.

The Results

The Vecteezy campaign delivered two cinematic, high-impact commercials that stood out across digital channels. The studio transformation became the largest set build in Sublime Media Group’s history, pushing the boundaries of what we could create in-house and elevating the brand’s visual storytelling.

My Role

I played a central role in both the creative development and physical execution of this campaign:

• Set Transformation Lead: Designed and built the entire secret agent lair set over two weeks — our studio’s largest transformation to date.
• Scriptwriting & Strategic Partnership: Co-wrote the script and collaborated directly with Vecteezy to ensure the creative aligned with their strategic goals.
• Project Oversight: Managed timelines, coordinated production, and ensured a smooth shoot day despite the ambitious scope.
• Creative Direction Support: Worked closely with the production team on set to maintain the cinematic tone and storytelling consistency.
